when all it takes is a teaspoon :)

We all love the drama. The fights, the hugs, the kisses, the tears, and most of all, the loneliness. We need it to substantiate our life. To make it  worthwhile. To make it seem special. We love the heart-break and the thousand songs about it. We love the divorce and the alcohol. We love the abuse so much that we cling onto it for dear life. Is it really worth the drama or is the drama really worth it? Why do we love to think that the world is crashing down upon our shoulders?

Who are we really trying to fool?

Our life does not lose meaning just because he or she left. In fact, they never left us. Its you who left. You left. You walked out on the love. You walked out on the joy. When it came, you drowned yourself in the alcohol. You shut your doors and cried yourself to sleep every night.

When all you needed to realise is that all it takes is a teaspoon. A teaspoonful of courage. A little courage to love, a little courage to surrender, a little courage to risk, a little courage to bring a change, a little courage to give your all, but mostly, a little courage to fall 🙂

About Ria Gandhi

“I really think I write about everyday life. I don't think I'm quite as odd as others say I am. Life is intrinsically, well, boring and dangerous at the same time. At any given moment the floor may open up. Of course, it almost never does; that's what makes it so boring.” ― Edward Gorey
